The 2023 BAPES/KARL STORZ Advanced 3mm MIS Scholarship Courses

ABOUT THE COURSES

The Advanced 3mm MIS courses are aimed at new Consultants and senior trainees in Paediatric Surgery and Paediatric Urology. Both courses comprise a combination of expert lectures and hands on work on animal models in the state of the art facilities of the newly refurbished KARL STORZ simulation centre in Slough, UK.

CONTENT

The Urology Course held on Wednesday March 15th covers laparoscopic pyeloplasty. The Thoracic course on Monday March 13th covers TOF/OA, CDH and lobectomy and the Abdominal course on Tuesday March 14th covers Fundoplication, Splenectomy, and Cholecystectomy.

REGISTRATION

The courses cost £150 (single payment regardless of number of days/courses attended) and this includes 5 years scholarship membership of BAPES.
